NSW Planning Portal

On the 1st July 2020 the NSW Planning portal was introduced to allow applications, including Construction Certificates, Complying Development Certificates and Occupation Certificates to be lodged to a Registered certifier via the portal. https://www.planningportal.nsw.gov.au/

You are required to set up an account to enable any application to be lodged, or you can log in via your NSW Service Account username and password.

You will need to nominate New Home Certification Group Pty Ltd (ABN 54 146 830 328) when selecting the relevant certifier.

If you have selected the above correctly, once you have clicked on the ‘Submit’ button we will get an automatic alert from the planning portal advising us that an application has been lodged (you as the applicant should also get an automatic email alert confirming it has been lodged so if this is not received, please check you lodgement.

Planning NSW have their own portal fees which are separate to New Home Certification Groups fees that you as the applicant may have to pay when lodging the application.
